The UCC27517A single-channel, high-speed, low-side gate driver device provides an excellent alternative to the proposed device for effectively driving metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) and insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBTs) power switches.The UCC27517a can source and sink high, peak current pulses into capacitive loads that provide rail-to-rail drive capability with minimal propagation delay (13 ns typical) by using a design that inherently reduces the breakdown current significantly.
